Holy Power
Lute's Holy powers split up in various forms. First and foremost is the root of it: his Holy Blood. His entire family has inherited this for as long as they can remember, and it is said to be extremely prosperous and apparently absolutely delicious to demons and other beings that can sense those sort of things, and also gives them various capabilities. One of them is breaking up of the aging process; at about the age Lute is right now, the magic will begin kicking in. Most likely he will appear to be fifteen for several years, without actually growing physically. By the time he is about seventy or sixty, he may only appear to be in his late twenties or early thirties at the oldest.
Another part of this is his healing powers. This aspect is a bit muddled because it was said in the manga that only the women in his family have it, but near the close of the manga, he uses said powers to heal the severe wounds of a handful of people. Uhh. Okay, Watanabe, what the hell happened to that? Because Watanabe has the tendency to act like a monkey with a typewriter, it is assumed that Lute does, in fact, have the healing powers that the rest of his family does because of that event. SO: they enable him to basically regenerate most injuries, though lifelong illnesses or disabilities are presumed to be beyond his power. Another thing is completely severed appendages, or other things like completely crushed bodies he is not able to fix (especially if you're dead :|). HOWEVER, BECAUSE THERE IS ALWAYS A CATCH; there is a defect to these powers. Whenever he uses them, it depletes some of his own lifespan in return. So even though he may be able to live for much longer than a century, he will not, because he refuses to stop using his own life to heal others. In fact, he will most likely die earlier than most people would; like around fifty or so, because by that point he will begin degenerating and will idk spend a few years hacking up blood until he kicks the bucket.
The final part of his Holy powers is his pure soul, though this is not necessarily included with the package-- just for him. A Holy soul by itself is considered extremely valuable, but along with that, his is completely 100% untainted, and because of this, animals are attracted to his presence and enjoy attacking/mauling/cuddling/eating/kidnapping him, and most people seem to be calmed by him as well. Seriously, I'm not kidding, he is more or less made out to be a Jesus Disney Princess mixed with a Mortal Kombat Samurai.
Element Manipulation
Lute is capable of magic spells pertaining to controlling elements, like water, fire, the earth, etcetera-- included with this, is raw energy control. This is also known as combustion-causing/earthquake-causing/exploding shit, and this usually only happen when he is incredibly angry or in the midst of a battle and can no longer control himself-- it tends to be very destructive and very successful in doing so.
